This cake was a lot of fun to make. My most popular flavour of Lemon & poppyseed 🍋

I mixed a little @colour.mill blush with Latte to get a warm neutral. A little @connoisseur_gold is always a must 😜
And I do love a stencil for texture.

It fascinates me how a different colour background can make decorative items pop. For me, the brown background makes the gold pop, the orange background makes the dark brown ‘balloons’ really stand out etc. which one is your favourite?
